The sanctuary
Large-scale seating designed around the room.
Six hundred upholstered church chairs were selected for this Maryland worship space. Dark navy and charcoal tones form the visual foundation, while gray and tan chairs add measured variation across the seating sections.
The chairs are arranged in orderly rows on both sides of a wide central aisle. Their dark frames coordinate with the exposed wood ceiling, while the varied upholstery works naturally with the warm lighting and architectural character of the sanctuary.
